Propeller Repairs

We provide a high quality, market leading propeller repair service which will result in a smoother running, vibration free boat with significantly reduced wear on the stern gear and with increased fuel efficiency. Although we are based at Kilmore Quay in Co. Wexford, we provide services throughout Ireland.

In the course of repairs, we use industry leading propeller analysis systems for selection of propulsion system components including engines, gear and propellers for vessels. Not only can we carry out your propeller repairs to an incredibly high standard, we can also save you money in the longer term.

In the course of our business, we have developed our own range of trade specific propeller repair equipment including::

• Manipulators, Jigs and Tapered Dollies
  
  
• Pitchometers to accurately measure the diameter and pitch of propellers
  
  
• A fully rotating Propeller Manipulator which can be rotated into any required position to allow the entire repair procedure to be carried out in the one place
  
  
• A re-pitch Jig, to ensure accurate setting of new pitch values with a very high success rate
  
  
• Grinding and Polishing Stations.
  
  
• We repair aluminum, stainless steel, manganese bronze and nickel aluminum bronze propsellers with sizes ranging from the smallest outboard motor to larger propellers found on commercial fishing boats and ferries

It is important to remember that a properly polished propeller will reduce fuel consumption and a vibrating propeller will lead to rapid shaft and cutlass bearing wear.
