We are totally committed to developing Jimmy Walsh Propellers and Marine Ltd into the no.1 Propeller maintenance company in Ireland and the first port of call to all owners.
We aim to be the only supplier our customers will need to meet their Propeller and stern gear requirements and have a strong association with established with most stern-gear providers throughout Europe and the UK.
What we do we do well and with pride. We are thorough and meticulous and have a good reputation in this industry.
Experience
Jimmy Walsh T/A One Stop Prop Shop was a start-up business which commenced trading in March 2009, as a sole trader business.
The business’s promoter is Jimmy Walsh. Jimmy has extensive experience and expertise in the Marine Propeller and maintenance sector since 1994. Jimmy works full time within the business.
After training with Van Voorden, Zaltbommel, The Netherlands in 1994, and completing a test for Lloyds in 1997, I worked at Marindus engineering until they ceased trading in 2009.
With a considerable amount of experience, we work to the highest standards using only top quality and certified materials and specialist equipment including propeller manipulators.
During the early part of 2017 moved to a new purpose built workshop in Rosslare Harbor and are easily accessible from any part of the country or the UK.
We carry out work for most major boat yards and Dock yards around the coast as well as the naval services and Customs and Excise.
Premises
We have a purpose built modern and compliant workshop in Rosslare Harbour, laid out to carry out our work in sequence and fully stocked and equipped.
There is a strong association nationally between Wexford and the propeller industry with people all around the country seeing it as the place to come for this service.
It was clear in 2016 that to continue we needed to move to become a Propeller scanning business as a first step.
We are the first Propeller scanning business in Ireland.
We aim to establish Jimmy Walsh Propellers and Marine as the leading quality Marine Propulsion maintenance service company in Ireland.
